Health Data Sweden’s Hackathon, workshop 1

November 19

Health Data Sweden’s Hackathon!

In collaboration with Stockholm University and Karolinska Institutet, Health Data Sweden is organizing a hackathon series held across three sessions during 2024/2025.

The focus will be on multi-disease patients who interact with various healthcare providers, with the aim of developing solutions for coordinated healthcare and social care.

The European Commission and the Swedish government have placed increased emphasis on addressing interoperability challenges, with a particular interest in fostering patient-centered collaboration between healthcare and social care. This hackathon aims to create and test innovative solutions, models, and standards for interoperability within electronic healthcare information systems. Another key objective is to agree on and implement a common conceptual model for the transfer of information between digital consultation platforms, medical technology systems, and record-keeping systems.

📅 Schedule:

  • Workshop #1: Tuesday, 19 November 2024 – Full day (Needs and Requirements)
  • Workshop #2: Tuesday, 21 January 2025 – Full day (Hackathon Content)
  • Hackathon: Tuesday, 18–20 March 2025, beginning the afternoon of 18 March, followed by full-day sessions on 19 and 20 March 2025.

The event will be hosted by the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV) at Stockholm University.
